Shipping & Return Policy – Society of Rituals

1. Shipping Information

We ship physical goods — including cacao, oracle cards, ceremonial items, jewelry, and other holistic tools — throughout the Netherlands and selected international locations.

  • Shipping Time: Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days.

  • Carriers: We use trusted postal and courier services (e.g., PostNL, DHL).

  • Shipping Fees: Calculated at checkout. Free shipping may apply above certain order values (as specified on product pages).

  • International Shipping: Delivery times and customs fees may vary by country. Society of Rituals is not responsible for customs delays or duties outside the EU.
     

2. Digital Goods & Online Services

Digital products (e.g., courses, memberships) are delivered electronically via email or user account access immediately after purchase.

By downloading or accessing digital content, you waive your right to the 14-day withdrawal period — but only if you gave explicit consent before download. Otherwise, the withdrawal period applies.
 

3. Returns & Refunds (Dutch Right of Withdrawal)

Under Dutch and EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right to cancel purchases of physical goods, starting the day after delivery. To do so:

  • Notify us by email at support@societyofrituals.com within 14 days

  • Return the item(s) within 14 days after cancellation

  • Include original packaging where possible

Return shipping costs are at the expense of the customer, unless the item was incorrect or damaged.

Refunds are issued within 14 days after receiving the returned item (or proof of return shipment).
 

4. Exceptions (No Returns)

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used food products (e.g., ceremonial cacao)

  • Custom-made or personalized ritual items

  • Digital content once access has started, and you gave consent

  • Tickets for events scheduled on a specific date/time (e.g., ceremonies)
     

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 7 days of receipt with clear photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
