This website is operated by Society of Rituals. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Society of Rituals. We provide this website — including all information, tools, and services — subject to your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By accessing the site and/or purchasing anything from us (including physical products, digital products, courses, memberships, or event tickets), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). The Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, merchants, and contributors. If you do not agree to all Terms, you may not access or use the site or any Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time — please check this page regularly. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. For consumers, Dutch and EU consumer protection laws apply.

3. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

We offer:

Physical goods (e.g., oracle cards)
Digital content and courses
Monthly subscriptions
Live ceremonial events
All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

4. YOUR RIGHTS: CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Physical Products

Consumers have a 14‑day right of withdrawal starting the day after delivery. You must notify us by email to exercise this right.

Digital Products & Courses

Your right to cancel expires once digital delivery begins if you consent to waive this right before purchase (as required by EU law). Otherwise, the 14-day withdrawal applies.

Events

If you purchase access to a specific event held on a set date/time, you may not be entitled to the 14-day withdrawal right. Refund policies for events will be disclosed during booking.

5. ORDER & PAYMENT TERMS

Orders become binding when confirmed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders. Prices include applicable VAT and are shown in EUR. Access to digital content is granted upon payment confirmation.

6. DELIVERY

Physical goods: Delivered to your address. Risk passes on delivery.
Digital products: Delivered electronically.
Events: Accessed online or in person, as described.

7. THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES

We may offer access to services/tools hosted by third parties. Use of such tools is at your own risk.

8. USER CONDUCT & CONTENT

You must not use the site for unlawful purposes or post content that violates laws or rights. We reserve the right to remove content and/or restrict access for violations.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, materials, branding, and course content remain the property of Society of Rituals. Use is permitted only as outlined in these Terms.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Service is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the extent permitted by Dutch law. Our liability is limited, except in cases of gross negligence or intent.

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold Society of Rituals harmless for any claims arising from your breach of these Terms.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by unforeseen circumstances outside our control.

13. SEVERABILITY

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remainder remains valid.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may modify these Terms. Please review them regularly. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
